From the outside, Villa Friluftsliv is everything you imagine a Swedish cabin to be: traditional red timber, timeless charm and nature all around. Step inside and you’ll discover a you'll be suprised by a different side.

The interior has been fully modernised, with every room, material and detail thoughtfully considered. The result is a warm and peaceful retreat where Scandinavian simplicity meets modern comfort and quiet luxury.
Sleeping
The cabin sleeps two guests in a comfortable double bed, dressed in soft linens. Following the Scandinavian way of sleeping, each guest has their own single duvet for a cosy and undisturbed night’s sleep.
Kitchen
The kitchen is compact by design, yet fully equipped with everything you need to prepare and enjoy a proper meal. You’ll find quality cookware, all the essentials, a drawer filled with herbs and spices, and oil and vinegar ready to use. There’s even a dishwasher, so you can spend less time cleaning and more time enjoying slow cabin life.
Bathroom
The bathroom is fully new-built — bright, clean and modern, with attention paid to every fixture and finish. A hot shower after a morning swim in the lake has never felt better.
Wood-fired hot tub
The heart of the outdoor experience is our wood-fired hot tub. Heated slowly with firewood, it takes a few hours to reach the perfect temperature but that's all part of the ritual. Light the fire and embrace the slow pace. Best enjoyed at dusk, or late into the evening when the forest goes quiet. We provide enough firewood to heat the hot tub once. Additional firewood for reheating the hot tub or enjoying a campfire can be purchased at the petrol station just five minutes away.
Connectivity
Villa Friluftsliv has fast and reliable Wi-Fi through Starlink, even in the middle of the Swedish forest. Whether you want to work remotely, video call your family or stream a film in the evening, you can stay connected whenever you choose.
